Back in the Studio: Getting Back to My Hands, My Heart, and My Craft
Share
It feels so good to be back.
After being out of the country and away from my usual rhythms, stepping back into my studio this week felt like returning home to myself. There’s something about the familiar hum of my space — the scent of natural butters, the sound of tools being moved around, and the quiet focus that comes with making — that always grounds me.
If you’ve been here for a while, you know that Honeypie Handmade isn’t just a business to me. It’s my creative outlet, my therapy, and a place where I get to pour intention into every single product that reaches your hands. Being away reminded me of that in a fresh way — sometimes distance makes you appreciate your work even more.
In this “Back in the Studio” vlog, I wanted to bring you along as I eased my way back into making. You’ll see:
- Me settling back into my space
- A glimpse of my creative flow
- Behind-the-scenes moments that don’t always make it to Instagram
- And that cozy, focused studio energy that I love so much
It’s not overly polished or perfectly curated — and that’s intentional. I want you to see the real side of running Honeypie Handmade: the quiet moments, the process, and the joy of creating with my hands.
My hope is that when you watch, you feel like you’re right there with me in the studio — almost like we’re spending a calm, creative afternoon together.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes of Honeypie Handmade, this vlog is a little window into that world.
