Back Home, Inspired, and Ready to Create Again

There’s nothing like coming home after a season of sunshine and adventure. I’m finally back from the Dominican Republic, and while part of me is still floating somewhere between the ocean breeze and that endless-summer warmth, I can’t lie… stepping into the crisp cold air here feels refreshing. Almost grounding. Almost like my mind instantly shifted into “cozy mode.”

As soon as that cool air hit my face, I felt myself getting excited for all the things I love about fall leading into winter — the layers, the rich colors, the oversized sweaters, the boots, the coziness, the candles burning in the background. This is my time of year to slow down, reset, and get intentional about what I want the next season to feel like.

And honestly? I’m so excited to bring a bit of that relaxed Dominican Republic vibe straight into my fall and winter line. There’s something about blending island ease with cozy-season comfort that just feels right. All that inspiration has been bubbling up inside me since the moment I unpacked my suitcase.

My Winter Hobby List Is Loading…

If you’re anything like me, winter can either feel peaceful and comforting… or it can drag you down if you don’t have something fun to pour into. I’m a multi-interest girl to my core — so having little hobbies helps me stay creative and keeps the darker days from feeling heavy.

I’ve already started brainstorming my winter hobby list:

✨ organizing corners of my home

✨ longer skincare nights

✨ and of course… getting back in the studio

I love having things to look forward to, especially when the days get shorter and colder.

Now that I’m home, the studio is calling my name more than ever. I feel ready — refreshed — and truly inspired. I can’t wait to start creating again, pouring, blending, infusing, and bringing new ideas to life for Honeypie Handmade.
